Description

The RGZ-91 Re-GZ is the streamlined prototype version of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam intended for mass production. This Mobile Suit uses a unique Back Weapon System to achieve Waverider form instead of an expensive and complex transformation like the Zeta has. The RGZ-91 Re-GZ also shares many aspects with the RGM-89 Jegan to reduce the cost of production. This Mobile Suit first appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack film piloted by; none other than Amuro Ray!

Articulation –

The knee joints of the RGZ-91 Re-GZ are double-jointed. This feature adds greater posability to the Mobile Suit and allows the legs to transform for Waverider mode. Recreate the Waverider mode by combining the RGZ-91 Re-GZ with parts from the BWS Support Unit and the Shield. The bracket that holds the Shield in place has a 3mm peg attachment point for displaying the RGZ-91 Re-GZ in Waverider mode on an Action Base.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

beam saber hilts in the backpack do not support effect parts because the Beam Sabers for the RGZ-91 Re-GZ unfold when deployed, so the place where the effect part would attach is not present. Bandai has included a pair of deployed Beam Sabers for the RGZ-91 Re-GZ to hold in its manipulators. The inside of the Shield is molded separately in grey plastic to add another level of detail. When used by the RGZ-91 Re-GZ, the Shield attaches to either forearm and rotates on the adapter for more posing options. The Back Weapon System hosts multiple Beam Weapons since all the armaments on the RGZ-91 Re-GZ are disabled in this configuration.
